My database contains a list of employee courses.
Each course will have an update frequency, e.g. never, 1 year, 2 years etc.
I know how to build a query which will show when a course is overdue for
update but how do I make it so that only the last time that course was taken
is shown as overdue.

why do I get this error "undefined function 'left' in expression

This function worked in 2003 but will not work in 2007. The help button
displays You entered an SQL expression that includes a Function procedure
name that cannot be recognized.

I am starting simply by using two fields in a table.
HoursRg (LongInteger) * HourlyRt (Currency)
And call it in a report Control (Text30)

Remembering settings
