I am attempting to add records within Access to a Table that is linked
directly to an IBM iSeries/AS/400 physical file. I receive an error message

Can't link to FoxPro db

Hi,
I tried to link my Access db to FoxPro (.dbf) using File, Get external, Link
menu. But the message comes up 'Expected Table is not expected format'. I am
sure the developer locked the dbf file for security purpose, but I really
needs that file for my custom report, because I can't extract that table
using ...

Importing large files from Access to Excel?

I have a table in Access which has 89,999 records which are auto numbered
sequentially. When I try to import this table into Excel the order gets out
of sequence. The first 1000 or so records come in correctly, but then in
sporadic places the numbers get way out of order. For example it jumps from
4000 to 1 ...
