Transfer Spreadsheet method: Sheet Name

When I use the DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet in Access 2003 to export a table,
the name of the table is given to the sheet in the new Workbook. Is there a
way to specify, with a variable, a different name for the Excel sheet? I just
want it to be "Sheet1", not the name of the table. ...

Access2002 Front-End Inconsistent Errors

Have Access front-end within same share as data. Users log in to Novell
network, but have a mapped drive in log-in script to folder. Most times,
everything will work fine. But, sometimes when users try to open the front-
end, they'll get the "non-exclusive rights" error, sometimes it's "invalid
path", sometimes ...

Access 2007: external txt data

I SUCCESSFULLY import in my database data from txt (tab delimited) file A.
Then I use make table query X to make table B:
SELECT A.* INTO B
FROM A;
The problem is that X works only once then the NAME OF QUERY has to be
changed (!!!??) to make it work for another time and that even if txt file
does not c ...

Line Length limits - decimals

I have a text file where the record line lenght is about 1934 chars long. In
fact it wraps in the text file. Is there a limit to the length of record
that can be imported into access table using import specs. Also, do I change
decimals from the record layout design to numbers in the import specs.

Numbers/Currency import into Access as text

I'm importing & linking both numbers & currency into Access via ODBC from
QAD's MFG/PRO system. The problem is that the numbers & currency import/link
into Access as text, thus not usable for mathmatical calculations.

Problem updating SQL Table

From an Access database that has linked tables to SQL 2005, the data
is displayed but does not allow to be modified. No error is displayed
in Access, there is update command sent to SQL.
Does anybody know what else can be checked or why this is happening? ...
