ADP "Connection Failure" when saving record

I am running a MS Access 03 and 07 (different computers) Access data Project
connecting to a Local Server database on SQL Server 2005 and I get this error
message whenever I try to insert a new record in a table OR modify a record:
"Connection Failure".

What are the pros/cons of doing such a thing?
One big pro is that I would be able to easily edit and keep track of

Anyone else experiencing corruption problems using Access 2003 to
edit .adp files? I've been experiencing corruption problems with a
