Very exact print layout

Hello,
I'd like to print some figures onto a bank cash slip which is pre-printed,
so I need to have a very exact print layout. It doesn't seem to be all that
easy to do in Excel - am I barking up the wrong tree? Should I use Word or
some other application?
(All the figures for the bank slip are already on ...

number in a changer) in Excel2003 which is about six pages long; each
printed page has room for another column of the same data to the right of
