Access doc from web

I know how to open a document from the web like so:
Set doc1 = objWord.Documents.Open("http://my.site.com/path/to.doc")
My problem is I need a way to use this document in a method call that needs
the filename in the form of a string.
Of course, the first thing I tried was putting in the entire URL ...

Keep line with cursor at fixed vertical position

Is there a trick to keep the line with the cursor (the line you are editing
at the moment) at a fixed vertical position (e.g. 4 cm under the top of the
Word window)?
I only know the commands to scroll the screen up / down, but they don't
achieve what I'm looking for.
