Word 2003/ .NET XmlDocument / ASP.NET web page

I have a .NET webservice which is returning me an XmlDocument which is
effectively a word 2003 document. If I were to save the file to disk and
open it, it opens with word 2003 as required. What I want to do is have an
Asp.NET web page which consumes the webservice, then returns the word

webdav and word processing xml with reference to assembly

hi,
has anyone been able to succesfully open a word document with an
attached assembly vis-a-vis a WedDav link? I have been trying to do
this with not much luck. the document itself opens, but the assembly
is never loaded it seems. i say this because when looking at the

Losing pix when saving doc file as htm

I have a .doc file that has pictures in it. I saved it as an .htm file and
when I clicked on it, it opened in an explorer window with the pictures
there. This is on a labtop and I was using Word 2003. When I move the file

prevent txt file from opening as html?

I have a small txt file that contains snippets of web pages (to study). I know the file is txt because it was born in a text editor. :-)
When opening in word 2000, Word seems to 'sniff out' some of the tags, and decide the file is html. The result looks a bit funny;
a mix of exposed and unexposed tags :-)
