Manual update for 'Excel to Word' table

Hi,
I am trying to create a macro to copy an Excel table into a Word document.
The macro need to perform the following three steps. I am stuck with the
third step. It is also not possible to record a macro for this step. Can you
please help me with that?

I'm working on a table where 2 rows have an extra line on the left side. How
do I get rid of those because when I move the table it appears that the line
runs down all the columns and I can't delete it?

Does the ability exist where one can use a drop-down â??formsâ? menu within a
protected table and allow users to select more than one item within?
If not, would one of you wonderful Gurus be able to furnish me with a more

Vertically centering text

In Word 2003, I copied and pasted a table from another document. The table
was not breaking across the pages properly, so I resized the bottom border,
and all fit well. I then tried to repeat the header on all pages (three),

I'd like to center text vertically in a table cell. I have no problem
centering it horizontaly, but when I try and center it vertically, there
seems to be a little more space below. This occurs if I set up a table and

Merging cells

I want to merge some of my cells in a few of the rows on my table. I used to
be able to do that easily when I had windows 98, but now I have vitsa and
windows works word processor. Anyone know how to merge cells????

that page in my document. Instead a new window appears which shows the
location of my document in Windows Explorer.
How do I fix this?

Graphics inserted into a Word2003 table cell shrink!
