Word 2007 custom dictionary including MÄori macrons

I have custom dictionaries in the MÄori language. I wish to use these in Word
2007. Whenever I save them in Unicode format it changes the macron - the line
above the 'a' - into a square box following the 'a'.
When I right click on a spelling error, the word shows correctly in the
right click menu e.g. ÄtÅ ...

Copy Formatted autocorrect items to Word 2007

Am trying to move Office 2000 formatted autocorrect items to Office 2007.
From what I have read, the formatted ones should come over from your old
Normal.dot and the unformatted ones come from the .acl file. I was able to
just copy the .acl file from my Office 2000 folder to the new machine that
has Office 2 ...

Spell check (Office 2007) disables after WSUS release updates

Hi all,
I have noticed that everytime WSUS release windows updates to clients, users
are complaining that their spell check is no longer working. When I go to
comfirm this, the 'Check spelling as you type' is unchecked. We have
rechecked and it continues to happen every update cycle.

Ignore all words of a specific style in spell check?

I write a lot of code samples in Word and invariably they show up as
misspelled words in Word 2007.
Is it possible to tell Spell Check to ignore all words with a specific
Style? (In this case, I use a custom style called "Code") ...

I have a user who keeps typing ahs instead of has, however, the spell check
seems to accept ahs, despite it not being in the custom.dic.
I have tested this on several other machines, and they all allow ahs - as
far as I am aware ahs is not an english word, so why does it allow it (and

Word 2002, Fresh install, Spellchecker not working

This is a fresh build of XP/SP3, Office 2002. The spellchecker doesn't
flag words on the fly, it also passes everything with a manual check.
MS Powerpoint spellchecker on the same machine works fine.
The only think that's different on this machine that I've done is that
