SideBar or independent Column in MS Word 2007

Hi,
do you know how to create a side bar over several pages? I need to have 2
independent columns of text - e.g. if I write in one column, it does not move
the the rest of the text to the second one. I would like to insert page
breaks indepenently to each column.

Hi, I am trying to set an orderring system up, so when I open a word page the
computer automatically generates the next sequencial number, e.g.
PO 2034, close page.
On opening the page next time, PO 2035 is displayed.
I am running word 2003 SP3 ...

In Word 2003, is it possible to add description boxes - whereas you put your
cursor over the title of something in a document and a description or
definition pops up? (Similar to the way you can add "comments" in Excel.)

Top Margin Disappeared

Word 2003: All of a sudden my page layout is starting at the very top of the
page, although when I do a page preview I have the 1" top margin. No matter
what page view I choose, it still starts at the very top of the page. HELP!
