Corner bracket marks

word 2007 problem with displaying pages

I have just started using 07 and what I notice is a "markup area" to the
right of every page. When I hit print preview it's still there. When I print,
the pages print what looks like a 6 inch by 8 inch page with the markup area
to the right. I check the page setup and it's supposed to be 1 inch margin

How to turn on only change bars to track changes

How do I turn on "only" change bars to track changes?
When I add a word or letter it works fine, but when I delete a word I
get the change bar and also the word has a strike through and can't be
deleted.
The options under the tools menu doesn't have this option.
I have word 2002 SP3.

Page Numbers won't use style-driven chapter numbering

I have a template with custom heading styles based on native Word
Heading 1, 2, 3... styles. The page numbering must include Chapter
Numbering, e.g, Chapter One's page numbering must appear as I-1, I-2,

I have a large document that is manually put together from smaller individual
Word documents. When I make changes to the smaller documents to update them,
I need to be able to change the page numbers so that they will fit into the
