Change background colour in Word 2007

When I open Word 2007 and Excel 2007, the toolbars and background are blue.
I find the blue quite pale and difficult to see at times; can it be changed
at all?

Is there any way to display the various document settings in the body
of the document so that they print?
I'm referring to paper size, orientation, margins, etc. ...

At work my computer is set so that I can view in print layout (in a single
box on my toolbar) only the name of the style I'm currently using (as opposed
to having the Styles and Formatting pane in my way). I know I achieved this
somehow but I can't remember how I did it.

Updates tells me there is an important "2007 Microsoft Office Suite Pack 2 (SP2)" to download. But 8 attempts to download and install fail with Error Code 8 ...

How do I install an existing word 2003 template in 2007

I need to install existing templates from word 2003. I can add them under
templates recently used, and I can select them under change styles, but their
particular formatting doesn't appear on the ribbon. I run XP but no Save In
Trusted Templates choice appears under Save As - as per help directions.

Numbering

A numbered list looks as the following:
1 Mrs Jones
2 Mrs Todd
3 Mrs Brown
4 Mrs Murphy
and I then try to delete, for example, line no 2 everything below moves up
and takes its place . I want a space left where no 2 was thus:
1 Mrs Jones
3 Mrs Brown
4 Mrs Murphy
Is this possible? ...
