return numbered lists to default settings

I need my numbered lists and multileveled lists to return to the default
settings. Is there a way? Currently when I choose a numbered list it indents
to 3". I can shift+tab back to the left, but I'd like not to have to do that.

Microsoft Word 97-2003 document with no reference to the format of the

I like to make some advertisements. As a border I want to use a picture, for
example easter eggs or trees wich are repeating.
In Word 2007 I did this by using tabs left and right for the border and

Need to copy from word 2007 and paste in another program

Smart lists work sometimes (2007)

There is a block of text (10-12 lines) in a Word 2007 document. If I
type "* " on a blank line anywhere before or after those few lines,
Word will convert it to a bulleted list. If I do the exact same thing
anywhere with those lines, it just leaves it as an asterisk and a

Header with no paragraph mark
