How do you save just an image(not entire page) out of a document?

When i click the object, neither Picture Tools, SmartArt Tools, not any

top border of picture does not appear

I'm trying to put a "shadow" border around a picture I've inserted into the
word document, however, when I do so, the top border does not appear.
Instead, I get the two side borders and the bottom one, the top one, nowhere
to be found.
Any suggestions? ...they would be greatly appreciated!

Grouping objects and pictures together????? with word 2007

Is ther a way that i can group a picture to my shapes and text boxes in word
2007. In previouse versions it was very easy but with 2007 i can not figure
it out. I have magaged to group text boxes with shapes but i can not get my
picture selected to include it in the grouping

My print shop guy creates graphic maps in Word. When he clicks on an object
(grouped or not), the view jumps to another area of the document. He then has
to scroll over to find the selected graphic. Sometimes it goes to the middle
and sometimes to the top, but it never stays where the selected graphic
