Problems with Document Layout

Somehow the default for the layout of my Word documents got changed to
'landscape' so every time I start up word now, it comes up as a landscape
doc. If I change the layout to 'portrait', enter my information and try to
print, it prints out in 'landscape' format. How can I change it back so that

quick parts in Word 2007

let's say I type someting like this in Word 2007 :

then I add this to quick parts to save it for future use. But when I open a
new document and want to use the information in it, it comes out like this:

Word document - mail merge

Making labels using mail merge. Included an image (logo) and sent it behind
text, now I cannot retrieve it to bring it up on top so I can make it larger.

Restrict formatting and Editing in Word 2007

We are in a 2003 domain, some users wants to protect a document in Word 2007
with the option "Restrict Formatting and Editing".
We enable the option "Allow only this type of editing in the document"
and click on "More users..."

Hi Folks;
I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm using Word 2000 and I have a
long existing letter. I have a separate word document that's a cover sheet.

cannot do spelling check in a protected form document

We will send the form to our staff to fill out.
But we want the form to be protected.
All works OK until we found out the spelling check is not working for

Can I timeout the save file prompt on logout/shutdown?

is there a way to time out the "save file" dialog in Word 2003 or 2007 when a
user chooses to shutdown or logoff of a workstation? My users will forget to
save a document, then choose logoff and walk away from a machine, but the
machine will not logoff because Word will not close.
