How do I search for a condtion that does NOT exist in a document?

My document, converted from .PDF, has many places with no space after the
period (.)at the end of a sentence. I want to find&replace the document for
periods that do NOT have a space after them.
Before I go the long way and search for ".a", ".b", ".c", etc. I'd like to
know if there is an easier way. ...

On one of our Windows XP SPK3 computers were running Office 2007. When ever
your using Word or Excel and you use either the File Open or File Save
commands and the Windowed Dialog Box appears with your file and folder
listings it will not let you move or drag and drop a file from one location
to another.

Space between paragraphs

Those automated spaces between paragraphs are annoying. It was better the
way it used to be in office 2003, you press enter and you get to the next
line. Another enter, and another line. I don't like those 1,15 lines of space
or something like that and I haven't been able to change the Normal template.

Forms, spell checking macro, and me

sorry, i guess this is a stupid question. I have a form; i have a spell check
macro (See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/SpellcheckProtectDoc.htm
). Once i protect the document, the macro button is greyed out... how do i
run the macro? If i attach it to the field, it runs after every field it is
attached ...

Back up copies of Files in My Documents in Word 2003

Every time I try to delete back up copies in "Open" in My Documents, it
creates another copy. I am up to 166 copies of unwanted files. They are not
shown in the pull-down of Word Documents only, but in All Files.

I inadvertantly created a huge gocument in Normal and single spaceing for the
lines between sentences but I wish to put double lines spacing between
sentences, sort of like a draft but this is a final document, 27 pages in
