Clicking on the Office icon->New shows different views

A few of our users after clicking on the office icon then New have a box that
opens with the words New Document in the Title Bar with a column on the left
(Templates and further down Microsoft Offine Online). In the middle there is
a Search Microsoft Office Online for a template with blank document.

Getting rid of a weird character

I'm working on some Japanese text that has been transliterated into English. What I
received has a chracter that looks like a hyphen with a downward stroke at the end. I
believe it is a non-printing character. I can find it in my character map and insert one,
but I cannot copy and paste it into the find/replac ...

I have adopted a huge application written in Word VBA. There are probably
50 custom menus and submenus. I understand VB and have no problem

Keeping Word Maximized?

One of my coworkers is having trouble opening Word in a Maximized
window. Lately, whenever he clicks on the Word shortcut on his desktop,
Word opens in a small (2" x 2") minimized window.
