I need to make a toolbar in Word 2003 (PC running on XP) that has links to
Word files in My Documents. I have seen this on a computer and the customer
wants to know how to do this. I do hope I have explained this clearly and am
holding thumbs that someone can assist.

2007 Toolbar Editing
Fri, 16 May 2008 03:46:00 -0700
We moved from Office 2003 to 2007 recently. We've migrated our Word macros to
a single Global Template and they work fine. Our wee icons now appear under
the Add-ins tab and that's ok too. Unfortunately, one user had the macros
still saved in her normal.dot and ended up with double icons in the ribbon.

easy access.
I have not been able to find any information on how to add this to a

Custom ToolBar questions

I want to make a custom toolbar for a template. I want to copy an existing toolbar from a different template, rename
it, and then edit it. I don't want the edits to affect the preexisting toolbar. How can I do that in Word XP?

Hello,
Not too sharp with this.
Using WORD 2002 with XP.
Old version I guess, but it does most everything I want.
Was told to look for an option View\Toolbars\Reading Layout that would do
some "special" formatting that I would like to do for a person with a

to office 2007 and while the macros are still there and working in the
Add-Ins tab, I would like them to available in a template file that
adds a new tab.
