Open Dialog, Details & List the same

Have a problem on XP, Word 2000, with the open dialog view being the
same for list and detail.
It's not the columns, or at least when scrolling as far right as
possible there is nothing to grab or change.
I tried winword /a, no difference.
Ideas on where to look?

Word 2007 at home - Word 2000 in the office - losing my mind

My employer continues to run Word 2000 over the XP Professional OS. I run
Word 2007 over the XP Home OS. The differences in the tool bars is making me
crazy. Is there anyway to use even a 2003 toolbar with the Word 2007 or the

startup location and converted it to a Word 2007 template. It had a custom

Hi
My understanding of toolbars was if you displayed a toolbar it remianed open
until you choose to hide it. This certainly works with Mail mMerge and
Drawing toolbars. However, with the Outlining toolbar, I have to redisplay
it every time I start Word. Whne you close Word it seems to hide the toolbar

some problems with icons. Icons lose there transparency, there is a blue
