"Duplicate Control" for capital letters

Hello there,
In MS Office Word, if you write all the letters of the word as capital, you
will not get any warning for spelling even if it is wrong spelled. As you
know, it is because of private names.
However, to have duplicate control before having spelling control may cause
problem as I had.

Word 2007 - Remove a TOC

Hello,
The "Remove Table of Contents" tab does not appear on my Word 2007. More
precisely, it is grey and I cannot select it.
I followed the training sessions about TOC, so I assume I do what is good
when working with TOC but this option is unreachable to me !

Funny that this never happened to me before, but it happened for the first time on exactly the same day as the person asking the above question.
This always makes me suspect that a Microsoft update is involved.
That aside - there are multiple drivers to choose for my HP 1018. How do I know which one is best?
